Trump revokes Secret Service protection for Biden’s children amid ‘ridiculous’ cost to taxpayers

‘Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States Taxpayer’, slammed Trump

President Donald Trump has removed the security personnel assigned to former President Joe Biden’s two adult children with ‘immediate’ effect.

Trump Moves to Revoke Secret Service Protection for Biden’s Children

The U.S. Secret Service already has its hands full, guarding former President Donald Trump, 78, along with his five children—including 18-year-old NYU freshman Barron Trump. But when reports surfaced that 18 agents had been sent to Cape Town, South Africa, to protect Hunter Biden during a lavish vacation, Trump had heard enough.

Hunter, 55, is currently enjoying what has been described as a “luxurious” getaway in the South African capital, reportedly staying in a $500-a-night beachfront villa—all while his taxpayer-funded security detail is housed in nearby apartments. Meanwhile, Biden’s daughter, 43-year-old Ashley Biden, is said to have 13 agents shadowing her every move.

With Biden’s presidency now over, his children no longer qualify for Secret Service protection under the Former Presidents Protection Act, which only extends coverage to children under 16. However, in one of his final acts in office, Biden signed off on a six-month extension for his family’s security detail.

Trump, wasting no time in responding, took to Truth Social to announce that he was revoking their protection. The move signals a swift policy shift as the former president reasserts his influence over government spending and security priorities.

Trump Slams ‘Ridiculous’ Secret Service Detail for Hunter and Ashley Biden, Orders Immediate Removal

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to blast the extended Secret Service protection provided to Hunter Biden—calling it an unnecessary burden on U.S. taxpayers.

“Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States taxpayer,” Trump wrote. “There are as many as 18 people on this detail, which is ridiculous! He is currently vacationing in, of all places, South Africa, where the human rights of people have been strenuously questioned.”

Trump then announced a major policy shift, stating that due to these concerns, South Africa had been removed from the list of countries receiving U.S. economic and financial assistance. He further declared:

“Effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection.”

He didn’t stop there. Trump also targeted President Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden, who reportedly has a 13-agent detail. “Likewise, Ashley Biden, who has 13 agents, will be taken off the list,” he added.

However, critics were quick to point out that during his own presidency, Trump approved Secret Service protection for his four adult children—Donald Trump Jr. (47), Ivanka Trump (43), Eric Trump (41), and Tiffany Trump (31).

With this latest move, Trump appears determined to reshape security protocols and rein in taxpayer-funded expenditures for former presidential families.

Trump and ‘First Buddy’ Elon Musk Lead Bold Plan to Slash Federal Jobs

As part of a sweeping effort to cut government spending, former President Donald Trump and his close ally, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, are spearheading a drastic reduction in the federal wage bill. Musk, now at the helm of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), is leading the charge alongside entrepreneur and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Their mission? Streamline the U.S. government by eliminating thousands of federal jobs and slashing wasteful spending.

In a bold move, Musk and Ramaswamy have vowed to disband the department once their task is complete, setting July 4, 2026—Independence Day—as their deadline. The ambitious initiative signals a radical shift in how the federal government operates, with Trump and Musk positioning themselves as champions of fiscal responsibility and efficiency.

With DOGE’s plans already in motion, the countdown to a leaner, more cost-effective government has begun.
