Donald Trump makes bombshell claim about wife Melania after latest Epstein statement

On Thursday, First Lady Melania Trump made an unexpected and headline-grabbing on-camera appearance from the White House, delivering a firm and carefully worded statement that immediately drew public attention. Speaking from the historic Cross Hall, she directly addressed swirling speculation and firmly denied any personal connection to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In what many observers described as a striking and unprompted moment, Melania Trump categorically rejected any suggestion that she had ever been a victim of Epstein or involved in his criminal network. She also used the opportunity to call for greater transparency and accountability, urging Congress to hold public hearings featuring testimony from victims in order to further expose the full extent of Epstein’s crimes.

“I am not Epstein’s victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump,” she stated firmly. She went on to clarify that her early social interactions occasionally overlapped with Epstein’s circle, explaining that such intersections were not unusual in elite social environments like New York City and Palm Beach. She emphasized, “Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City and Palm Beach.”

Melania further drew a clear boundary between herself and Epstein as well as his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell, stating unequivocally, “To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, [Ghislaine] Maxwell.”

She continued her statement with even stronger denial of any involvement or knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, saying, “I have never had any knowledge of Epstein’s abuse of his victims. I was never involved in any capacity. I was not a participant, was never on Epstein’s plane and never visited his private island.”

Concluding her remarks, the First Lady shifted her focus toward accountability and justice, adding, “Now is the time for Congress to act. Epstein was not alone.”

Shortly after her statement made waves across media outlets and social platforms, her husband, President Donald Trump, also addressed the situation. According to remarks shared via his X account in conversation with MS Now journalist Jacqueline Alemany, he stated that he was not aware in advance of Melania Trump’s decision to speak publicly on the matter.

The 79-year-old president also reportedly clarified his position regarding Epstein, reiterating that Melania Trump did not have any personal connection with him prior to their relationship.

The series of statements from both the First Lady and the President quickly sparked widespread discussion, adding another layer of attention to a topic that has long remained controversial and closely scrutinized in public discourse.
