His job is nothing short of ambitious — tasked with slashing federal costs, modernizing government technology, eliminating waste, and ensuring taxpayer money is used efficiently while boosting overall governmental productivity.

In New York, things took a more dramatic turn, with six arrests made as protesters occupied a Tesla showroom over the weekend. Hundreds rallied against Musk’s policies, sparking intense demonstrations. In response to the escalating unrest, President Trump took to Truth Social to defend his close ally, calling the protesters “Radical Left Lunatics.”
Trump’s post read: “To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is ‘putting it on the line’ to help our nation, and he’s doing a FANTASTIC JOB! But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the world’s greatest automakers, and Elon’s ‘baby’, in a calculated attempt to attack him and everything he stands for.”
Trump’s unwavering support of Musk has only intensified the already heated debate.
“They tried to do it to me in the 2024 Presidential Election, but how did that work out? In any case, I’ll be purchasing a brand-new Tesla tomorrow morning to show my unwavering confidence and support for Elon Musk, a true American hero. Why should he be punished for using his incredible talents to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN?” Trump declared on Truth Social, although he didn’t specify which Tesla model he’s buying—though it’s safe to assume it’ll be one of the higher-end options.
This statement comes just after Musk, the 53-year-old tech mogul, shared his controversial take on ending the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
“Sanction the top 10 Ukrainian oligarchs, especially the ones with mansions in Monaco, and the conflict will stop immediately. That’s the key to solving this,” Musk tweeted, sparking heated debates on his stance regarding the war.
