President Zelenskyy responds after Donald Trump ‘yelled’ at him saying he’s ‘gambling with World War 3’

US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance accused the Ukrainian President of ‘disrespecting’ the US

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has issued a statement following his heated discussion with Donald Trump and JD Vance at the Oval Office today.

Heated Exchange Between Trump, Zelenskyy, and Vance at the White House

A tense and fiery meeting took place at the White House’s Oval Office on February 28, as U.S. President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and U.S. Vice President JD Vance gathered for a crucial discussion. The conversation quickly escalated when Vance accused Zelenskyy of being disrespectful to both the U.S. and President Trump, stating that Zelenskyy “should be thanking the president.”

In a heated moment captured on video, Zelenskyy remarked that “during the war, everyone has problems,” and just because those in the U.S. may not “feel it now,” doesn’t mean they won’t “feel it in the future.” This statement prompted a sharp response from Trump, who interrupted the Ukrainian leader.

“I’m trying to solve a problem,” Trump retorted, his voice rising. “You’re in no position to tell us what we’re going to feel. We’re going to feel very good, very strong. You’re in a very bad position right now, and you’ve allowed yourself to get there. You don’t have the cards right now. But with us, you’ll start having cards.”

Trump’s frustration mounted as he added, “You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people! You’re gambling with World War Three. What you’re doing is very disrespectful to this country.”

The exchange quickly sparked reactions on social media, with one Twitter user commenting, “Jesus F**king Christ! Watching Trump yell and demean the Ukrainian President is completely disrespectful. What a disgrace.”

In the aftermath of the meeting, Zelenskyy took to Twitter to express his gratitude toward the American people, writing, “Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.”

Trump, not one to hold back, shared his own thoughts on Truth Social, stating: “We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure. It’s amazing what comes out through emotion. I’ve determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he’s ready for peace.”
