Kim Sae-ron’s lifeless body was discovered by a close friend at around 4:50 p.m. in her Seoul apartment. The friend immediately alerted the police. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of death but have found no signs of a break-in or foul play.

“We have not found any signs of foul play as of yet, but we are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death,” a police official shared with Yonhap News Agency. At this time, further details remain undisclosed as the investigation continues.

Kim Sae-ron: A Star Remembered for Her Early Talent and Legacy

Born on July 31, 2000, in Seoul, Kim Sae-ron began her acting career at just nine years old. She quickly gained recognition for her standout roles in “A Brand New Life” (2009) and “The Man From Nowhere” (2010), earning Best New Actress at the 8th Korean Film Awards.

Her talent did not go unnoticed on the global stage; in 2009, she became the youngest South Korean actress to be invited to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where A Brand New Life was screened. As her career progressed, Kim showcased her versatility with notable performances in “The Queen’s Classroom” (2013), “The Neighbors” (2012), and “Glamorous Temptation” (2015), spanning genres from drama to thriller.

Most recently, Kim took on the lead role in “Bloodhounds”, a Netflix series, adding to her rich legacy in the entertainment industry.
