When asked how long it would take before these robots could interact with users in a truly intimate way, Musk responded with a confident prediction: “Probably not that long,” adding that it could be “less than five years” before these robots are available to the public.
Rogan, playing along, asked whether the robots would be ‘warm,’ to which Musk quipped that they could be “whatever you want.” He even suggested robots could take on a variety of forms, from ‘catgirls’ and ‘furries’ to something more exotic, like the blue Na’vi from Avatar.
