The tech mogul gave his take on Pam Bondi
Tesla-CEO-turned-politician Elon Musk has come to the defense of the new US Attorney General, who released a catalog of Jeffrey Epstein files.
On February 27, Pam Bondi revealed a significant release of information, unveiling the convicted sex offender’s contact list and flight logs from his infamous private island. While the list includes names of individuals in Epstein’s network, it does not specifically implicate anyone in illegal activities. Rather, it merely documents those who were in Epstein’s contact book.

Among the names released in the newly revealed flight logs and contact list from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious network, President Donald Trump is mentioned. According to the flight records, Trump flew on three occasions with Epstein in 1993 and 1994, with Ghislaine Maxwell reportedly on board during the 1993 flight. Other prominent names listed include Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, 1990s rock icon Courtney Love, and renowned actors Alec Baldwin, Ralph Fiennes, and Dustin Hoffman.
In the midst of this release, Elon Musk voiced his support for Attorney General Pam Bondi, who has been leading the effort to make this information public. Responding to a Twitter user who praised Bondi for fighting against what they described as a “leftist culture” within the DOJ and FBI, Musk said, “People don’t understand that you don’t get instant power here.” He continued, explaining that taking on such a massive responsibility—like heading the DOJ or FBI—requires time to adjust and build the right team. “Imagine if you were suddenly appointed AG or head of the FBI. You were just thrown on a ship with a hostile crew. Until you appoint some new crew members and figure out the ropes, you can’t steer the ship effectively. It’s literally impossible.”
Bondi’s efforts are no small feat, considering the political polarization in the US today, with Democrats and Republicans seemingly further apart than ever before. Despite this, the release of a comprehensive 200-page dossier on Epstein is something that could resonate across the political spectrum. However, Bondi herself has warned that the contents of the documents—featuring Epstein’s flight logs, contact list, and evidence found at his New York home and private island—will be disturbing. Notably, the dossier also includes a redacted list of victims’ names, protecting their anonymity, as well as Epstein’s infamous “black book” of contacts, which is also heavily redacted.
As this information continues to unfold, the public is eager for answers, while the challenges faced by Bondi in navigating these complex issues are undeniable.
