Donald Trump Shares His Stance on Prince Harry’s Residency – Takes a Sharp Jab at Meghan Markle

Donald Trump reveals why he won’t be deporting Prince Harry before making brutal one-word dig at Meghan Markle
There is no reason for Prince Harry to be concerned about potential deportation in the near future.

Donald Trump has firmly stated that he has “no intention” of deporting Prince Harry—a decision seemingly influenced by his rapport with King Charles III, the reigning monarch.

The 78-year-old Republican leader has never held back in criticizing the Duchess of Sussex over the years, so it came as no surprise when he took a subtle jab while addressing Prince Harry’s residency in the U.S.

Despite past tensions, Trump has made it clear that he has no plans to deport the Duke of Sussex—for a very specific reason. According to The Sun, an insider revealed that Trump’s “warm friendship” with King Charles III and his deep “respect” for the Royal Family play a key role in his decision.

“The President knows that if he were to deport Harry from California and his 14-bathroom mansion, the 40-year-old royal would have nowhere to go, creating an unnecessary headache for the King,” the source claimed.

A source familiar with the situation stated, “Bringing him back to the UK would actually be more complicated than keeping him in the U.S.”

Prince Harry’s immigration status has come under scrutiny, particularly after the Heritage Foundation raised concerns that he may have omitted details about past drug use—a factor that could have impacted his U.S. visa eligibility.

As a result, there have been calls for his immigration records to be released. In his 2023 memoir, Spare, Harry openly admitted to using drugs in the past, further fueling the debate over whether his visa application was handled with special treatment.

In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry revealed that he had experimented with various substances, including cocaine, cannabis, and hallucinogenic mushrooms. He shared that his first experience with cocaine occurred when he was 17, shortly after the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997. Harry recounted, “Of course, I had been using cocaine at that time. When I was at someone’s house on a hunting weekend, I was offered a line, and ever since then, I have consumed some more.”

In a recent interview, Trump addressed questions about deporting Harry, saying, “I don’t want to do that,” and added, “I’ll leave him alone. He already has a few issues to deal with with his wife. It’s a waste of time.”

Trump also took the opportunity to praise Prince William, stating, “I think William is a great young man,” following his earlier comments about Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle has been outspoken about her disapproval of Donald Trump in the past, calling him a “misogynist” and a “divisive” figure. She also made it clear that she voted for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election, which pitted Clinton against Trump.

In response to reports that he had referred to Meghan as “nasty,” Trump made an effort to clarify his remarks. He claimed his comment was taken out of context.

The controversy began when a reporter told Trump that Meghan had mentioned she would move to Canada if he won the election. Trump’s response to The Sun was, “I didn’t know she was nasty.” However, he later attempted to smooth things over during an interview with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain in June 2019. Trump emphasized that he had no intention of offending Meghan and stated that he considered her to be “very nice.”

“The question was asked to me, and I didn’t know that she said anything bad about me,” Trump explained, as reported by ITV News. “It sounds like she did, and that’s okay — I mean, hey, join the crowd, right? Some of the things she said were actually captured on tape, and I responded by saying, ‘Well, I didn’t know she was so nasty.’”

Trump further clarified his earlier comment, stating, “I wasn’t referring to the fact that she is nasty; rather, I was referring to the fact that she was terrible about me, and in essence, I was unaware that she was unpleasant about me.”

He continued, “So I said, but you know what, she’s doing a good job, I hope she enjoys her life.”

Trump went on to explain, “I believe she is extremely nice. Sincerely, I am not familiar with her. I have to be honest with you, I do not know her, but it just goes to show you how terrible the news can be. Because if you read that—and I’m sure you did—it was talking about ‘nasty.’ She was nasty about me.”
