Donald Trump has said he is ‘willing’ to release a ‘suspicious’ report about the two alleged assassination attempts that were made against him during his 2024 campaign trail.

Assassination Attempt Shocks Nation: President Injured at Pennsylvania Rally

On July 13 last year, tragedy struck during a rally in Pennsylvania when the U.S. President was wounded in the right ear after being targeted in a shocking attack.

The gunman, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, opened fire from a nearby rooftop, unleashing eight rounds into the crowd. The horrifying incident claimed the life of one audience member and left two others injured.

The shocking event sent ripples across the nation, leaving Americans shaken and security concerns heightened.

Trump Demands Answers Following Shocking Attacks

In a tense Oval Office press conference on Thursday (March 6), President Trump addressed lingering questions about the July 13 assassination attempt that left him wounded in the right ear.

When asked why more details about the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, remain unknown seven months later, Trump responded, “Well, and the second one with all of the cell phones.”

His remark referenced the alarming incident on September 15, when Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was discovered hiding in bushes near Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, armed with a rifle and carrying six cell phones. Authorities believe Routh intended to harm the president, though no injuries occurred.

“He had six cellphones,” Trump emphasized. “That’s a lot of cellphones.”

The president revealed he’s expecting a full report next week and vowed to make it public: “I want to release the report… I want to find the answers.”

Turning his attention back to Crooks, Trump disclosed a curious detail — the gunman was reportedly found with a mysterious device containing three apps, “two of which were foreign.”

“What’s all that about?” Trump questioned, hinting at deeper concerns yet to be addressed.

Trump Fuels Speculation Over Mysterious Attack Details

President Trump doubled down on his promise to release a report on the shocking assassination attempt that left him injured last year, emphasizing once again: “We’re going to be releasing a report on that soon.”

During Thursday’s Oval Office press conference, a reporter pressed Trump about whether the unusual details surrounding the incident suggested something “bigger” might be at play.

“They could be,” Trump responded. “Well, it makes other people think that. It makes me think it a little bit too.”

The president highlighted the puzzling discovery that shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks had a device with three apps, two of which were reportedly foreign, and noted the FBI’s silence on the matter.

“I would say that could be suspicious,” Trump remarked, raising questions about the agency’s reluctance to disclose details.

Despite the uncertainty, Trump commended the Secret Service for their swift action in responding to the threats.

Reaffirming his commitment to transparency, Trump declared: “I want to find out, and I would be willing to release it. I mean, maybe there’s a reason that we shouldn’t — I don’t want to get too far ahead of my skills — but I would be very willing to release that.”
