Chilling 131-year-old ‘psychic’ novel ‘predicted’ Trump’s ‘epic rise to power’

Another day, another conspiracy theory

Ask a political expert how Trump came to power, and you’ll likely get a well thought out answer. Ask a conspiracy theorist… well, that’s what we are here to discuss.

The world is no stranger to strange coincidences, but this latest revelation has left people questioning whether something bigger is at play.

Two books by American lawyer and novelist Ingersoll Lockwood have sparked widespread intrigue—and even a bit of unease. Why? Because they seemingly predict the rise of Donald Trump, mentioning figures tied to him and, according to some, even hinting at his modern-day political dominance.

The real kicker? These books were published in 1893 and 1896—decades before Trump was even born. The eerie connections have left many wondering: is this just a wild coincidence, or something far more mysterious?

Two fictional novels—Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Adventure and The Last President—have set the internet ablaze with speculation. Just by their titles alone, it’s easy to see why people are drawing eerie parallels to modern-day events.

Although the books spell Trump’s son’s name as Baron instead of Barron, the similarities are too striking for some to ignore. In Little Baron Trump’s tale, he is portrayed as a wealthy, aristocratic young man living in Castle Trump—a fictional estate that many compare to Trump Tower. Even more unsettling? His mentor is a mysterious figure named Don.

But the coincidences don’t end there. While The Last President doesn’t feature Baron Trump, it paints a chilling picture of political turmoil. The story follows a New York outsider who unexpectedly becomes president, sparking mass protests and civil unrest that ultimately lead to the downfall of the American Republic.

Coincidence, or something more? That’s the question fueling endless debate.

One passage from The Last President has particularly fueled the frenzy:

“Mobs of vast size are organizing under the lead of anarchists and socialists, and threaten to plunder and despoil the houses of the rich who have wronged and oppressed them for so many years.”

At first glance, it might just seem like an interesting historical coincidence. But for some, this is proof that Donald Trump is actually a time traveler—or that Ingersoll Lockwood was somehow psychic.

Social media has, unsurprisingly, run wild with the theory. One Twitter user confidently declared, “Time traveling confirmed.” Another speculated, “This story is wild. Trump possibly having access to Tesla’s research would partly explain why the powerful hate him so much. Just sayin’…”

And a third? “The first time I heard this, it seemed like some strange, fantastical coincidence. It’s all warped into something very real now.”

Personally, I’m not entirely convinced—but when has that ever stopped the internet from going full conspiracy mode?
