Melania Trump was forcing a positive expression when she was introduced by her husband ahead of his Congressional address, according to an expert.

Melania Trump Steps Back into the Spotlight — But Is She Really Enjoying It?

With Donald Trump back in the White House, Melania Trump has also made her return to the public eye—though not without speculation surrounding her feelings about it.

The First Lady made a rare public appearance earlier this week, calling on lawmakers to crack down on revenge porn—a cause she’s taken under her wing since reclaiming her role. During Trump’s Congress address on March 4, he praised Melania’s advocacy, sparking a wave of applause across the room.

However, despite the standing ovation, a body language expert has suggested that Melania’s reaction may have hinted that she wasn’t entirely comfortable with the attention.

While her efforts are already making headlines, the question remains — is Melania embracing her return to the limelight, or simply fulfilling her duty?

Melania Trump’s Awkward Moment? Expert Says First Lady Was ‘Frustrated’ by Standing Ovation

With Donald Trump back in office, Melania Trump has inevitably returned to the public eye—but is she enjoying it?

During Trump’s Congress address on March 4, he praised the First Lady’s advocacy against revenge porn, prompting a wave of applause across the room. But according to body language expert Darren Stanton, Melania’s reaction suggested something very different from joy or pride.

Speaking to UNILAD on behalf of Prime Casino, Stanton argued that Melania appeared frustrated and uncomfortable, rather than pleased.

“She doesn’t seem to like attention or having focus brought onto her. Her smiles were not genuine; they were purely out of politeness. You can see from her eyes and the tension in her mouth that it was a very forced smile.”

He added that her reaction was telling—no crow’s feet, no engagement in the upper half of her face, and visible discomfort.

“Trump likes to shift attention towards her, but she would clearly rather remain out of the limelight. She was visibly embarrassed and uncomfortable.”

Despite this, Trump continues to put Melania in the spotlight, whether she wants it or not. Could this be a point of tension behind closed doors?

Expert Claims Melania Trump Was ‘Angry’ Over Standing Ovation at Congress

As Donald Trump took center stage during his March 4 address to Congress, he made a special mention of First Lady Melania Trump’s efforts to combat revenge porn, prompting a wave of applause across the room. But was she actually happy about it?

According to body language expert Darren Stanton, Melania’s reaction suggested the opposite—with signs of frustration, discomfort, and even anger rather than pride.

“The key tells of a genuine smile are wide eyes, raised eyebrows, and an open mouth. Melania exhibited none of these,” Stanton told UNILAD on behalf of Prime Casino.

“On the contrary, her eyes actually tightened, her eyebrows pulled together, and she pursed her lips. This suggests that beyond just being embarrassed, she was actually quite angry.”

He further explained that Trump often forces Melania into the limelight, despite her clear discomfort.

“She did not want to be in the spotlight, yet Trump always insists on putting her there. There were clear signs of discomfort and anger.”
