Patrick Adiarte, the multitalented performer best known for his role as Ho-Jon on the first season of the iconic sitcom MASH*, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 82.

Born in the Philippines, Adiarte made his mark in Hollywood with a vibrant career that spanned stage, screen, and television. In the 1970s, Adiarte became a familiar face on American TV, with guest appearances on hit series such as Bonanza, The Brady Bunch, Hawaii Five-O, and Kojak. But it was his role as the kind-hearted camp houseboy Ho-Jon on MASH* (1972–1973) that left a lasting impression on audiences.

A gifted dancer as well as an actor, Adiarte once shared the stage with legendary entertainer Gene Kelly, who praised him as a potential heir to Fred Astaire’s legacy.
