Vivian Jenna Wilson has addressed Elon Musk’s tweet deadnaming her
Vivian Jenna Wilson has addressed Elon Musk’s ‘gross’ tweet about her.
Wilson, one of Elon Musk’s children from his first marriage to Justine Wilson, made headlines in 2022 when she filed a petition to legally change her name, stating she no longer wanted to be “related to [her] biological father in any way, shape or form.”
Despite her clear desire to distance herself from Musk, the Tesla CEO has continued to bring her up in interviews, most recently claiming that Wilson — who is transgender — had been “killed by a ‘woke mind virus.'” In an interview with Teen Vogue, Wilson revealed that when she sees news about Musk, she finds it “f**king cringe” and feels the urge to “post about this and denounce it.” “Which I have done a few times,” she added.
When the controversy surrounding Musk’s alleged ‘Nazi salute’ at a Trump rally hit the news, Wilson was quick to call it “insane.” A Twitter user responded to the headline “Elon Musk’s daughter says father’s rally gesture was ‘definitely a Nazi salute’” by questioning if Musk had ever killed anyone, suggesting that just because Wilson said something didn’t necessarily make it true.
Musk’s response? He deadnamed Wilson and doubled down on his claim that she had been “killed by the woke mind virus.” Wilson wasted no time with a comeback. She responded on Threads with a succinct and savage reply: “Ew. Gross. I’ll deal with this nonsense in a bit, for now, a simple ratio will suffice.”

A social media user responded to Musk’s comments, condemning them as “a horrible thing to say about your child.” Another added: “Vivian, I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this pain in public. It is absolutely shocking. Please stay safe and know we appreciate & support you. You’re a beautiful young lady who shouldn’t have to go through these attacks in the public eye. Stay strong.”
In the same interview, Wilson didn’t hold back, labeling Musk “a pathetic man-child” and making it clear she has no fear of his wealth or power.
“Why should I be scared of this man? Because he’s rich? Oh, no, I’m trembling. Ooh, shivering in my boots here. I don’t give a f**k how much money anyone has. I don’t. I really don’t. He owns Twitter. Okay. Congratulations,” Wilson said. “People thrive off of fear. I’m not giving anyone that space in my mind. The only thing that gets to live free in my mind are drag queens.”

Wilson concluded, “But other than that, I don’t give a f**k about him. I really don’t. It’s annoying that people associate me with him. I just don’t have any room to care anymore.”
