However, what truly irks her more than the online trolls is when they’re out in public and people mistakenly speak to her as if she’s Hannah’s mother, ignoring her entirely. “I am bothered by it,” she admitted. It’s frustrating to see how Hannah, 29, is often judged based solely on her appearance, with strangers frequently assuming she’s much younger than she really is. This also leads to awkward situations when trying to make age-restricted purchases or receiving home deliveries, where Hannah is regularly asked to show ID.
Despite the occasional annoyance, Hannah remains remarkably unfazed by the criticism. “Being compared to a child while I’m with Lauren does annoy me since, of course, that would completely ruin our relationship. However, I would always prefer to be referred to as a child rather than a paedophile,” she said.
Even though some critics have suggested that Hannah should change her style or have a makeover to avoid further judgment, she remains confident and unaffected, staying true to herself despite the public scrutiny.
“The year is 2025, and it’s not exactly a secret to have a ‘butch partner,'” Lauren said confidently. “I shouldn’t feel pressured to hide it.”
