
Tragedy on the Track: Teen Racer and Co-Driver Killed in New Zealand Rally Sprint Crash
A devastating accident has shaken New Zealand’s motorsport community after a rally sprint crash claimed the lives of teenage driver Brooklyn Horan and his co-driver, 35-year-old Tyson Jemmett.
The fatal incident occurred during the Arcadia Road Rallysprint in Paparoa, where the pair were competing at high speed. Their vehicle reportedly veered off a gravel road and plunged into a swollen river, following recent heavy rains.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but tragically, both Horan and Jemmett were pronounced dead upon arrival.
