Woman Escapes Tragedy By Minutes After Missing Deadly Air India Flight — Her Chilling Story

Bhoomi Chauhan, a 28-year-old student from Bristol, came heartbreakingly close to tragedy on June 12. She missed Air India Flight 171 from Ahmedabad to London by mere minutes—caught in heavy traffic, she arrived 10 minutes after boarding had closed. Moments later, the Boeing 787 took off—and crashed just 30 seconds after liftoff, claiming nearly all 242 lives onboard and several more on the ground. That twist of fate, denied boarding due to delay, ultimately saved Bhoomi’s life.

Among the passengers was British survivor Vishwashkumar Ramesh, who miraculously escaped death despite sitting in the emergency exit row 11A, a spot experts say offered almost no chance of survival due to its location above the wing spar. Injured but alive, Vishwash was seen limping away from the wreckage, overwhelmed as he called his family in disbelief. Though he lost contact with his brother Ajay, who was also on the flight, doctors confirm Vishwash is now stable and recovering in an Ahmedabad hospital.

This devastating crash has left families shattered and officials stunned—Vishwash’s survival, they say, is nothing short of a miracle.
